LAKE NAKURU
NATIONAL PARK
The relatively small Lake Nakuru National Park is located right next to the city of Nakuru and, despite its small size, is a popular stop due to its rich biodiversity and convenient location. Lake Nakuru is one of the lakes in the Great Rift Valley. In the center of the park is Lake Nakuru, the size of which depends on the season in which it is visited. Around the lake, the park is characterized by grasslands, swamps, rocky outcrops and forests.



Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the best places in East Africa for spotting the black and white rhino. In addition to the black and white rhinoceros, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and hippos are also seen during a safari. Due to the great variety of habitats, Lake Nakuru has a rich bird life of more than 400 species.

Game DRIVE
Game drive is also best done at Lake Nakuru national park and most especially in common animals which are buffalos, rhinos, leopards, lions.


Bird watching
Lake Nakuru is great birding destination with more than 500 species recorded. The soda Lake Nakuru is a birding hotspot and supports a lot of birdlife for example flocks of pelican, flamingos. The spot for bird watching is the southern end of lake Nakuru, that’s where you identify the different types of bird species.
