AMBOSELI
NATIONAL PARK
The Amboseli National Park is located in the southeast of Kenya on the border with Tanzania and is one of the most iconic safari areas in Africa due to its location at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The classic image of elephants or giraffes crossing the savannah plains with the snow-capped peak of Africa’s highest mountain in the background should not be missing from your safari. Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, but from the Amboseli National Park you can enjoy the best views of this magnificent mountain.



The national park consists of savannah plains, acacia forests, wetlands and is a relatively small park that is part of a larger ecosystem on either side of the border between Kenya and Tanzania. The park is also known for its impressive elephant population of 600, including several animals with very large tusks. Other animals that are commonly seen are zebras, buffaloes, giraffes and wildebeests.

Game drive
Having experienced the natural attractions of of Amboseli National Park firsthand, I can attest to has a striking a beauty and abundant wildlife including the African Big 5. One cannot help but be captivated by the immense population of African wild elephants that roam the open savana plains, acacia woodlands, rocky thorn bushes, and swamps.


Hot Air Baloon safaris
Hot air balloon safaris are an incredible opportunity to experience Amboseli National Park uniquely. Hot air balloon adventures start very early in the morning when the winds are still calm, and As the balloon gently ascends, the magical scenery of Amboseli is uncovered. You will see herds of elephants roam freely in this park.




Horse riding safaris
A safari in Amboseli National Park on horseback is a unique way to go on a safari without the constraints of the car engine. The horses in this park are used to carrying beginners, making it possible for even first-time riders to enjoy the horse riding safari activity. You can horse ride next to wildlife like giraffes, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, elands, ostriches, and baboons, getting close to them in their natural habitat. NIGHT SAFARI
Night safaris are also offered by the accommodations located in the private nature conservation areas around the national park. Just before dinner, depart the property by open-top vehicle in search of nocturnal animals such as genet cats, hyenas, leopards, and galagos.
