DAY 1
KARIBU KENYA!
Once you arrive, at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, where your guide is already waiting. After an initial introduction, you will drive to the first accommodation in Nairobi. While enjoying a welcome drink, you will discuss tomorrow’s program with the guide. Karibu sana Kenya!

DAY 2
VIEW OF MOUNT KILIMANJARO IN AMBOSELI
The tour is about to start! You will drive towards the Amboseli National Park and can make a stop at a Maasai market or at a local supermarket along the way. After checking in, you will make the first safari in the national park in the afternoon. At the end of the afternoon, you will be dropped off at your accommodation where you will enjoy the setting sun and a cold drink.
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
This park is located in the southeast of Kenya on the border with Tanzania and is one of the most iconic safari areas in Africa due to its location at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The national park consists of savannah plains, acacia forests, wetlands and is a relatively small park that is part of a larger ecosystem on either side of the border between Kenya and Tanzania. The park is also known for its impressive elephant population of 600, including several animals with very large tusks.
JEEP SAFARI AMBOSELI – AFTERNOON
During the safari in the Amboseli National Park, you will enjoy the classic image of elephants or giraffes crossing the savannah plains with the backdrop of the snow-capped peak of Africa’s highest mountain. When the last clouds disappear in the afternoon, you go on safari and maybe even shoot the photogenic picture of elephants with the famous Kilimanjaro in the background!

DAY 3
ELEPHANTS, GIRAFFES AND LIONS DURING THE SAFARI
Today the whole day is dedicated to safari in the Amboseli National Park. In between safaris, you will return to your accommodation for lunch and possibly a dip in the pool or a moment at your tent or room.
JEEP SAFARI AMBOSELI – FULL DAY
In the morning you will take an early safari through the Amboseli National Park. Wildlife is waking up and predators can still be active now that the sun is not yet high. The elephants are easy to trace in Amboseli on the open plains and you will definitely take a look at the swamp that also attracts many animal species. In the afternoon, when the clouds clear, you will continue the safari and you may have a clear view of Kilimanjaro. A beautiful day with views and lots of wildlife!

DAY 4
TRIP TO MOUNT KENYA
In the morning you will leave the park and then set course via Nairobi to Laikipea west of Kenya’s highest mountain, Mount Kenya. After a beautiful drive through Kenya, you will arrive in Nanyuki at the end of the afternoon from where you can see the 5199 meter high Mount Kenya. Mount Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa after Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, you will arrive at your accommodation which is the base for the activities in the Ol Pejeta Nature Conservation Area.
OL PEJETA NATURE CONSERVATION AREA
Ol Pejeta Nature Conservation Area is one of the most accessible reserves of the much larger Laikipia which forms the border area between the central highlands and the northern desert areas. Ol Pejeta is the largest rhino conservation area in East Africa with more than 80 black rhinos and at least 10 white rhinos.

DAY 5
RHINOS IN THE OL PEJETA
After an early breakfast, the rest of the day is dedicated to activities in the Ol Pejeta Nature Conservation Area. If you prefer to be active, you can also take a walk at the foot of Mount Kenya or even climb to a viewpoint at an altitude of 3990 meters. In the afternoon, you can enjoy nature at your accommodation.
THINGS TO DO IN OL PEJETA CONSERVATION AREA
During the safari you will look for the African wild dog, reticulated giraffe, black and white rhino and leopard, among others. You will also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary where Kenya’s only chimpanzee population lives. The chimpanzees are protected and live in an area surrounded by fences. At the Morani Rhino information center you can get up close to the blind, black rhino Baraka and feel why it is so important that these immense mammals are protected by, among others, the Ol Pejeta nature conservation area.
MOUNT KENYA NATURE WALK (OPTIONAL)
You will walk through the green area at the foot of Mount Kenya accompanied by a local English-speaking guide. You can visit a waterfall and experience the pure Kenyan life in a pleasant way. During the journey through the rainforest, your guide will tell you about the exotic flowers, plants and bird species. They are also looking out for the graceful frilled monkeys.

DAY 6
OFF TO THE SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
In the morning you will enjoy the view of Mount Kenya one more time and then set course for the Samburu National Reserve. Along the way you will see the landscape and the population slowly change, in the Isilio you will meet the colorfully dressed people of the Samburu tribe.
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
The Samburu National Reserve forms the transition area from the fertile and green soil of Mount Kenya to the semi-desert north of Kenya. The highest concentration of wildlife is found around the Ewaso Nyiro River, which meanders through the red landscape like a green lifeline. On the way to the Samburu National Reserve, you will encounter the beautiful Samburu tribes that can be recognized by their bright red clothing and colorful jewelry.
JEEP SAFARI SAMBURU – AFTERNOON
During the safari in the Samburu National Reserve you will look for unique animal species such as the giraffe gazelle, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and the beautiful grévy’s zebra that cannot be found elsewhere in Kenya. You will search along the river and the mountains on the north side of the reserve. In addition to the unique animal species, you will of course also look for other animal species such as antelope species, lions, leopards, cheetahs and a rich bird life. In the afternoon, when the light softens and the sun slowly sets, you go on safari. Wildlife also becomes active in the afternoon, so it will be exciting to see what you will find! In the evening you can enjoy a campfire with the sounds of the African wilderness in the background.

DAY 7
IN SEARCH OF THE RENOEK, GRÉVY’S ZEBRA AND RETICULATED GIRAFFE
Today the whole day is dedicated to safari in this fantastic national park. You plan the day together with your guide and can choose to go on safari all day with a packed lunch or choose to have an extensive brunch in your accommodation. By going on safari at different times of the day you will encounter a wide variety of wildlife.
JEEP SAFARI SAMBURU – FULL DAY
During the safari in the Samburu National Reserve you will look for unique animal species such as the giraffe gazelle, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and the beautiful Grévy’s zebra that cannot be found elsewhere in Kenya. You will search along the river and the mountains on the north side of the reserve. In addition to the unique animal species, you will of course also look for other animal species such as antelope species, lions, leopards, cheetahs and a rich bird life. A brilliant day in the wilderness of Samburu!

DAY 8
TRAVEL DAY ACROSS THE HIGHLANDS TO NAKURU
After breakfast you will leave the Samburu National Reserve on a safari to set course for the Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, you will make a pleasant stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and the Thomson waterfall. You then descend further and further into the Great Rift Valley to finally arrive at Lake Nakuru.
LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Lake Nakuru is one of the lakes in the Great Rift Valley. Around the lake, the park is characterized by grasslands, swamps, rocky outcrops and forests. This park is ideally suited for spotting rhinos, there are many white and black rhinos living here and the chance of encountering them is high.

DAY 9
RHINOS IN LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Today the whole day is dedicated to safari in the Lake Nakuru National Park. After a cup of tea or coffee, you will go on safari with your guide the moment the sun rises. In consultation with your guide, you can choose to go on a full-day safari with a packed lunch or return to your accommodation between safaris.
JEEP SAFARI LAKE NAKURU – FULL DAY
During the safari you will look for the black and white rhino and you may also encounter leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and hippos. In the morning you will see the largest variety of bird species around the lake and maybe even an owl in the forest. With the slowly setting sun, you will go in search of wildlife during the safari and enjoy the views. In the evening you can enjoy a nice dinner under the African starry sky.

DAY 10
OFF TO THE MASAI MARA NATURE RESERVE
In the morning you will gather your luggage and start the drive to one of the most famous and also wildlife-rich national parks in Africa, Masai Mara Nature Reserve.
MASAI MARA NATURE RESERVE
The Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the most famous and wildlife-rich national parks on the African continent. The Masai Mara is divided in two by the famous Mara River through which 2,000,000 migrating wildebeests and zebras make their way in spectacular fashion. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is located in a huge valley created by the forces of the Great Rift Valley and is bordered to the east by the Loita Hills, to the north by the Ithong Hills and to the west by the imposing Esoit-Oloolo Mountains. The reserve borders the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the south, forming a gigantic ecosystem through which the great migration passes.



JEEP SAFARI MASAI MARA – AFTERNOON
In the afternoon you will make the safari at sunset. Tired and certainly satisfied, you immediately return to your accommodation with a smile on your face and take another look at the impressive photo material you have collected during the safari.

DAY 11
SAFARI SPECTACLE IN THE MASAI MARA
This day is completely dedicated to all the safari spectacle that the Masai Mara has to offer. You plan the day together with your guide and can choose to go on safari all day with a packed lunch or choose to have an extensive brunch in your accommodation. By going on safari at different times of the day you will encounter a wider variety of wildlife.
JEEP SAFARI MASAI MARA – FULL DAY
Today is all about safari along the banks of the famous Mara River, you will spend this day together with your guide. Since the wildebeest often migrate through the river in the morning and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a well-deserved lunch at your accommodation between safaris. During the safari you will search along the infamous Mara River. The excitement rises when you see large groups of wildebeest and zebras gathering along the shore and the giant crocodiles taking position, sometimes it takes hours before the first animals make the crossing. But once the first animals have gone, the rest will follow immediately and you will experience what you have always seen on television with programs such as Great Migrations and Planet Earth. A natural phenomenon that is difficult to match and very special and which is only seen by a small number of safari travellers!
BALLOON SAFARI MASAI MARA – (OPTIONAL)
Today you will get up early for the hot air balloon safari. You will watch the sun rise as you fly silently above the meandering Mara River. Nature awakens and after an hour-long hot air balloon ride, you will land in a beautiful place where a champagne breakfast will be waiting for you. The balloon safari is always with other travelers.

DAY 12
TRAVEL TO NAIROBI AND RETURN FLIGHT
Today you will leave the beautiful Masai Mara to set course for Nairobi. Here you can change clothes and have dinner and then be dropped off at the airport for the return flight home.
